Lex van Leeuwen new Area Sales Manager at Fancom

Lex van Leeuwen joined Fancom as an Area Sales Manager on1 April 2021. You could say that Lex was born and raised among mushrooms as his parents were growers who also traded mushrooms. After his education at the Practical Training College for Mushroom Growing, Lex joined the family business and worked there as a manager until the company was sold in 2007. Since then, Lex has gained commercial experience with several companies, most recently in the role of Sales Manager at CNC Grondstoffen in Milsbeek, where an important part of his job was using his knowledge of mushroom growing to help customers supplied with compost.

During his career he has often come across Fancom systems, so they are very familiar. At Fancom, Lex will be responsible for East Europe. Lex is 40 years old and lives with his wife and two daughters in Grubbenvorst.

Lex on his new role

"What really appeals to me about Fancom is the amount of in-house expertise. This makes the products so unique and perfectly aligned to the needs of our customers. I look forward to applying my knowledge of process control in the pig and poultry world and to discovering more about these interesting sectors. Being involved in international business is fascinating. I look forward to contributing to Fancom's activities in East Europe and working with our distributors to raise brand awareness of Fancom".

Fancom is pleased to welcome Lex and we wish him good luck and lots of fun in his new job!
